Footnotes
MOTOWN OMI showed good speed away from the start and was sent to the early lead, set a decent pace into the turn, held off foes to upper stretch then was set down for the drive, held sway into the final furlong, dug in when challenged by CHILL BEAN in the final sixteenth and lasted for the win at the wire. CHILL BEAN was forwardly placed early on, tracked the pace outside of rivals heading to the turn, mounted a three then two wide bid nearing the quarter marker, was held at bay to upper stretch, fought on into the final furlong, was gaining late and just missed for the win, while holding safely for second. BACK TO GRIDLOCK rated just off of the early pace, was caught in tight and steadied approaching the turn, navigated traffic while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, found a seam to upper stretch then rallied to the furlong grounds, closed willingly in the late stages and held for third at the wire. MAERDAMA a step slow away from the start, settled in mid-pack along the backstretch, shifted out into the turn then bid four wide nearing the quarter marker, gave chase into the stretch, was gaining in the final stages and just missed for third on the wire. CHOSEN FACTOR raced close up to the early pace, stalked from the inside heading into the turn then chased from the rail to upper stretch, needed more into the final sixteenth and was outkicked in deep stretch. IL SUO ORO settled off of the early pace, asked for run five wide nearing the quarter marker and rallied to upper stretch, made a late run but needed more in the final sixteenth. BIANKA HEART unhurried in the early going, asked for run four wide nearing the quarter marker, swung five wide to upper stretch, angled back in approaching the furlong grounds, made a mild rally to the final sixteenth but could not threaten the leaders late. PLUM IRISH jostled at the start and off slow, settled off of the early pace then saved ground to the quarter marker, lacked a response when called upon into upper stretch and did not factor late. COUNTRY ECONOMICS raced close up to the early pace, chased between rivals and two wide into the turn, dropped back approaching the quarter pole then gave way in the stretch.
