ROGER THAT DANA showed good speed away from the start and assumed early command, set a contested pace into the turn, repelled the pressing rival nearing the quarter marker and kicked clear into the lane, held sway into the final furlong and kept to task late under steady urging. ONLY THE LONELY tracked the early pace two wide and between rivals, chased three wide to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit of ROGER THAT DANA into the stretch, was not able to impact the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. LA RODADA got bumped at the start and was off a bit slowly, tracked the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit three then four wide into the turn, was outkicked in the stretch but stayed on well late to be a clear third. PLAYFUL PAL raced close up to the early pace while between rivals, saved ground into the turn and chased the pace to the quarter marker, ran in pursuit to upper stretch then weakened in the final stages. IF I CAN DREAM raced in tight while between runners in the early stages, got shuffled back approaching the turn, swung out and chased four then five wide nearing the top of the lane, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and lacked the needed late response. ESOOOO hustled to be prominent early on, went up and pressed the pace two wide into the turn, attended to the pace along the bend then was repelled nearing the quarter pole, gave way to upper stretch and faded in the final stages. I WALK THE NIGHT chased the early pace from the inside, got caught in tight and checked hard nearing the five-furlong pole, lost position along the backstretch then saved ground into the turn, could not find a response to upper stretch and tired in the lane. GIMME ME BIT bobbled at the start and was off slowly, lacked early speed then trailed to the turn, coaxed two to three wide to upper stretch and did not factor in the lane.
