ORBIT contested the early pace from outside of THUNDER ZEUS, took command along the backstretch and set the pace to the far turn, held foes at bay into upper stretch, kept to task while clear into the final furlong and held sway under steady late urging. RAWAYANA settled and saved ground early on, was well placed to the backstretch, chased three wide to the quarter marker, could not make headway on the winner into the final furlong and held safely in the end for second. RAASIL got bumped at the start and was a bit slow into stride early, settled while saving ground into the backstretch, angled out into the far turn then chased four wide to the stretch, could not reel in the top pair late and closed willingly for third. THUNDER ZEUS contested the early pace from inside of ORBIT, ceded the lead to that rival along the backstretch then stalked ORBIT into the far turn, chased between rivals to upper stretch, could not find the needed response in the drive and yielded. STARR OF JERICHO settled two wide into the first turn, angled to the rail into the backstretch, chased from the inside nearing the far turn then came within range at the quarter pole, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch and weakened in the drive. ANTONINO settled into the first turn, saved ground along the backstretch, angled five wide to upper stretch, could not muster the needed response late and finished evenly. VALEN TIME was forwardly placed in the early stages, stalked two wide to the backstretch, lost position at the half-mile marker, was outrun to upper stretch and did not factor in the drive. MUSTBETHEMUNNING caught a bit wide into the first turn, settled outside of runners into the backstretch, coaxed three wide into the far turn, lacked a response to upper stretch and did not threaten late.
