WRECKING BALL was forwardly placed while three wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace between rivals along the backstretch, roused three then four wide at the quarter marker, responded into the stretch, made a sustained rally to the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and edged away late to prove best. CRYPTONYM broke awkwardly and was off slowly, advanced while widest along the backstretch, continued that run three wide into the far turn, loomed to upper stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong pole, held a narrow lead to the final sixteenth, was outfinished in deep stretch and bested the rest. LAST RUN contested the early pace then took command into the first turn, set a moderate pace along the backstretch, showed the way to the far turn then led to upper stretch, overtaken into the final furlong, yielded in the late stages and held safely for third. WILL OF A WARRIOR vied for the early lead then ceded into the first turn, stalked the moderate pace to the half-mile pole, gave chase into the far turn, ran in pursuit to the furlong grounds then was outkicked in the final sixteenth. SARATOGA CRUISER settled three wide into the first turn, was well placed to the half-mile marker, chased three wide to the quarter pole, could not sustain his run into the stretch and flattened out late. MUNGER was unhurried away from the gate, saved ground to the half-mile marker, lacked a response at the quarter pole and did not rally in the stretch drive. STARSHIP MAGELLAN settled and saved ground into the first turn, was well placed to the half-mile point, chased from the inside into the far turn, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and gave way in the drive. LEGAL MANEUVER settled in the second flight and between rivals into the first turn, shifted out along the backstretch run, chased three wide to the far turn, could not muster the needed response to upper stretch and did not factor in the drive.
