HOTTAKEJAKE was crowded a bit at the start and was off a step slowly, coaxed four wide into the turn, fanned six wide to upper stretch, rallied to the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and held off foes in the final strides for a determined win. ADVERSARY settled off of the early pace, trailed to the quarter marker then roused from the two path to upper stretch, closed well between rivals to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and got up for second. AEGON TARGARYEN rated off of the early pace, tracked from the inside approaching the turn, chased from the rail to upper stretch and vied for the lead at the furlong marker, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and just missed for second, while holding for third. MCMULLEN was prominent away from the start, went up and pressed the pace from the outside into the turn, drifted to the three then four path to upper stretch, battled to the furlong marker, yielded in deep stretch and was outfinished for the minor awards. SMOKIN JACK FLASH chased the early pace two wide and from between rivals, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter marker, fanned five wide to upper stretch, chased to the furlong grounds while on the left lead then was outkicked in deep stretch. INSANITY IT SEEMS showed good early speed, set a contested pace into the turn and carved out a solid pace to the quarter marker, drifted out a path to upper stretch then battled to the furlong marker, was overtaken at mid-stretch and weakened in the final sixteenth.
