CRAFTY COLLECTOR settled just off of the early pace and was well placed to the first turn, saved ground along the backstretch, maintained a rail trip to the stretch then was set down for the drive, made a sustained rally to the final sixteenth, caught the runner-up in deep stretch and edged away in the final strides. MISCHIEF IN MOTION took back off of the contested early pace, stalked three wide into the backstretch then pressed the pace to the half-mile marker, took command and kicked clear into the far turn, held sway into the stretch and maintained a clear lead into the final furlong, was caught by the winner in deep stretch and held safely for second. RAMSEY POND was caught in tight and jostled back in the early stages, settled off of the solid pace and was unhurried to the backstretch, advanced into the far turn then was caught in traffic to upper stretch, shifted out for the stretch drive, closed willingly into the final sixteenth and got up in time for the show honors. JALILA was allowed to settle away from the start then was caught in traffic on the run to the first turn, settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, roused five wide into the far turn, chased four wide into the stretch, made a mild late rally but was outkicked for third in the final strides. BELLAVININO took back off of the contested early pace, saved ground into the first turn then tracked the pace between rivals heading to the half-mile marker, chased between foes into the far turn, made a mild bid into the stretch but needed more late. NOSLEEPTILBROOKLYN broke out then was squeezed at the start and was off slowly, settled into the first turn, was unhurried while not far back heading to the half-mile pole, was caught in traffic into the far turn and steadied off of heels approaching the quarter pole, angled out for the stretch drive, needed more in the late stages but improved position in deep stretch. STARSHIP IMPULSIVE away in good order, vied for the early lead then ceded to PHOENIX OF WIT (IRE) into the first turn, pressed inside of that rival along the backstretch, contested a solid pace to the half-mile marker, lost position into the second turn and faded in the stretch drive. PHOENIX OF WIT (IRE) vied for the early lead then took command into the first turn, disputed a solid pace between rivals heading to the half-mile pole, chased MISCHIEF IN MOTION into the far turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the drive. FEDE settled just off of the contested early pace, was carried wide into the first turn then settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, well placed while four deep heading to the half-mile marker, gave chase into the far turn, could not match strides leaving the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. THE JOCKEY ON RAMSEY POND LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF CRAFTY COLLECTOR, CLAMING INTERFERENCE IN THE RUN TO THE FIRST TURN. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
