FLAMINGO WAY bobbled at the start and was off a beat slowly, settled off of the solid early pace, advanced between rivals into the turn then angled five wide at the quarter pole, swung six wide for the stretch drive and rallied to the furlong marker, took command into the final sixteenth and drove clear in deep stretch. ETRURIAN bobbled at the start and was off a bit slowly, settled off of the solid early pace, advanced into the turn then loomed four wide at the quarter pole, vied for the lead five deep at the furlong grounds, was outkicked by the winner into the final sixteenth and stayed on late to be second best. BEAUTY OF THE SEA showed speed away from the start, vied for the early lead then steadied and was shuffled back nearing the half-mile marker, recovered and saved ground into the turn, navigated traffic into the stretch then found a seam late, closed willingly in deep stretch and got up in time for third in a good effort. LE AMAZONIA prominent early, went up and disputed the pace into the turn, dueled through solid fractions nearing the quarter marker, battled between rivals into the stretch, yielded into the final sixteenth and was nailed on the wire for third. SICKLE DANCE settled early on while never far back, chased two to three wide to the quarter marker then was caught in traffic to upper stretch, faced a wall of horses turning for home, angled out at mid-stretch, could not sustain a late run and flattened out. HOT CARGO vied for the early lead, took back and chased from the inside heading to the turn, waited for room nearing the top of the lane then advanced and came within range at the furlong grounds, could not muster the needed response in the final sixteenth and weakened late. SOCIAL FORTRESS off a step slowly to begin, was hustled to be forwardly placed in the early stages, chased three wide into the turn, ran in pursuit four wide and between rivals into upper stretch, was caught a bit in tight between foes at mid-stretch, lost position into the final sixteenth and gave way late. MAKE HASTE (GB) was prominent away from the start, disputed the early pace from between rivals, engaged with LE AMAZONIA and dueled inside of that foe into the turn, battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace with oncoming rivals into the final furlong and faded late.
