Footnotes
BOLD LOOKER raced far back down the backstretch, circled five wide around the turn, closed outside, was up near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. FORT CHARLES stalked the pace three wide, took the lead near the seven-sixteenths marker, vied between foes around the turn and through much of the stretch, won the battle but could not withstand the winner late. LEOPARDI chased the pace two wide, lacked the needed rally but kept on to gain the show. THINGSRGETTINHARRY was unprepared for the start, trailed two wide and improved position in the lane. FLATTER ME settled off the early pace outside, bid in the four path around the turn, reached near even terms near the quarter pole but faded in the lane. NOT THISTIMERANDY pressed the pace two wide and tired in the drive. ROWDY JESS failed to menace while racing three wide. FEDERAL EXCHANGE set the pace along the rail and retreated after a half.
