Footnotes
VENEZUELAN HOPE was reserved in the early stages, given his cue approaching the far turn, roused five wide to the quarter marker then fanned six wide to upper stretch, rallied to the furlong grounds and vied for the lead past mid-stretch, battled while on his left lead approaching the final sixteenth, took command in deep stretch and drew clear late. LOOKIN FOR ROSES settled into the first turn, shifted outside of rivals along the backstretch and raced widest to the half-mile marker, chased five then four wide into the far turn, loomed at the quarter pole and vied for the lead three deep to upper stretch, held a narrow lead into the final furlong, was collared by the oncoming winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second at the wire. STONE COLD FLEX allowed to settle early on, saved ground into the backstretch, angled off of the rail nearing the far turn and chased to the quarter marker, bid three then four wide approaching the top of the stretch, got caught a bit in tight between rivals at the furlong grounds, was outkicked late by the top pair and stayed on to earn the show honors. TRIUMPHANT ROAD settled outside of rivals into the first turn, advanced into the backstretch and tracked the pace five wide nearing the half-mile pole, bid three then two wide into the far turn and vied for the lead to upper stretch, battled to the furlong grounds, could not keep pace to the final sixteenth and flattened out late. RACKET was prominent away from the start, got caught in tight on the run to the first turn and was shuffled back in the early going, recovered and tracked the pace three to four wide into the backstretch, was well placed to the half-mile marker, cut the corner to the far turn and ran in pursuit to the quarter pole, could not find the needed response to upper stretch and weakened. BOCA GUY unhurried in the early going, advanced three to four wide into the far turn, could not sustain that run into the stretch and did not threaten late. WILLINGNESS showed good speed away from the start, vied for the early lead five then four wide into the first turn, disputed the pace outside of rivals into the backstretch then took command nearing the half-mile pole, showed the way to the second turn then came under pressure at the quarter marker, was overtaken to upper stretch and faltered in the late stages. GET READY TO ROCK was forwardly placed while three wide and between rivals into the first turn, contested the decent pace into the backstretch run, took up when put in tight approaching the far turn, gave way into the far turn and could not muster a final response. MY GREAT ILLUSION hard sent away from the start, vied for the early lead inside of runners, disputed the pace into the backstretch, lost position at the half-mile pole then took up when put in tight approaching the far turn, could not find more heading to the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. TITAN was prominent away from the start, disputed the early pace between rivals, stalked the decent pace to the half-mile pole, checked when put in tight approaching the far turn, dropped back on the run to the quarter pole and came up empty in the stretch.
