BELLA JAK showed good speed away from the start and took early command, set a moderate pace to the quarter marker, kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task under steady urging into the final sixteenth, was challenged in deep stretch and lasted for the win at the wire. VELVET RAGE broke well then ceded the early lead, stalked BELLA JAK through decent fractions into the turn, gave chase two then three wide into the stretch, rallied and challenged BELLA JAK into the final sixteenth, just missed for the win in the final strides and held for second at the wire. FROSTY BELLE was forwardly placed in the early stages, chased the decent pace three wide into the turn, ran in pursuit four wide into the stretch, was gaining late, could not reel in the top pair in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for third. TURKISH FLAME settled off of the early pace while not far back, chased two then three wide nearing the quarter marker, swung to the four path into upper stretch, needed more in the late stages and offered a mild late bid. R SKYLINE settled mid-pack to begin, saved ground into the turn, tipped two wide for the stretch drive, could not muster the needed late response and finished evenly in the stretch drive. INSTAPURCHASE away from the gate a bit slowly, coaxed from the two path into the turn, did not factor in the stretch drive. TALE OF LEMONBELLE forwardly placed early on while saving ground, chased the decent pace from the rail heading to the quarter pole, lacked a rally to upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. ATOMIC FLEA chased the early pace from outside of rivals, was five then four wide in pursuit into the turn, could not keep pace into the bend and came up empty in the stretch.
