BULL BY THE HORNS settled in the second flight and between rivals early on, roused into the turn, loomed three wide nearing the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch and led to the furlong marker, drew off to the final sixteenth and was hand urged to the wire to win as much the best. PAX MUNDI was well placed in the early running, tracked the decent pace while saving ground heading to the turn, got caught in tight at the quarter marker then was shut off into upper stretch, angled out and churned on into the final furlong, was no match late for the winner but was able to outfinish THOUSAND SPIRITS to earn the place honors. THOUSAND SPIRITS got bumped leaving the gate but showed good speed and took early command, set a decent pace into the turn, was confronted then overtaken into upper stretch, chased BULL BY THE HORNS into the final sixteenth, was outfinished late for second and was well clear in the end for third. STAR OF THE GUN settled off of the decent early pace while never far back, advanced outside of rivals into the turn, coaxed three wide to upper stretch, could not muster the needed response in the drive but was able to improve position late. WIN WINNIE WIN settled while saving ground in the early going, chased the leaders to the quarter marker, maintained an inside path to the stretch and did not threaten in the final sixteenth. CANDY ADDICTION was prominent in the early stages, stalked the decent pace along the backstretch then gave chase two wide into the turn, was outkicked to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response to upper stretch and weakened in the drive. REBELLUTION hopped at the start and was off slowly, raced greenly in the early stages, trailed into the turn, was coaxed three to four wide to upper stretch and did not factor in the drive. ABOVE THE NORM tracked the early pace three to four wide, chased into the turn then lost position nearing the quarter marker, stopped in upper stretch and was not persevered with in the late stages.
