Footnotes
SOUND IT OUT sent for the early lead, took command into the first turn, set a modest pace while well rated into the backstretch, showed the way to the quarter marker then kicked clear into the stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held sway to the wire. D'ARGENTO BOLT was forwardly placed early on, stalked the modest pace into the backstretch, chased SOUND IT OUT into the far turn, could not make headway on the winner into the stretch and held well late for the place. SOUFFLE ON FIRE settled to the first turn, tracked the modest pace three deep to the half-mile pole, was roused three wide nearing the quarter marker, needed more into the stretch drive, closed into the final sixteenth and missed for the place, while holding for the show. GIDDY UP BABY settled and saved ground to the first turn, unhurried along the backstretch, shifted to the two path into the far turn, encountered mild traffic at the quarter marker, angled three wide for the stretch drive and advanced between foes into the final sixteenth, made a mild late bid and just missed for third. HIT SONG was forwardly placed to the first turn, tracked the modest pace three deep into the backstretch, gave chase into the far turn then was outkicked in the stretch. LILYS BACK checked while in a bit tight on the run to the first turn, settled off of the modest pace, saved ground to the far turn then angled three to four wide to upper stretch, ran in pursuit while widest into the final furlong and offered a mild late bid. COLORFUL LADY was prominent away from the start, took back and was well placed while saving ground into the first turn, tracked the modest pace to the half-mile, saved all of the ground to the far turn then chased to upper stretch, could not muster a final response and yielded in deep stretch. VALLEY OF DAWN off a bit slowly leaving the start, settled into the first turn, raced widest to the half-mile pole, lacked a response into the second turn and did not factor in the stretch.
