Footnotes
ABUELO settled away from the start, made a middle move while widest along the backstretch, loomed three wide to the far turn, took command four wide to upper stretch, kicked clear into the final furlong, drew off into the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. LEROY BROWN was forwardly placed leaving the start, took back and saved ground to the first turn, was well placed while saving ground along the backstretch, angled out into the far turn then swung four wide for the stretch drive, was no match late for the winner and ran on in deep stretch to earn the place. SECRET POWER raced close up to the early pace, settled between rivals into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile marker, ran in pursuit two to three wide nearing the quarter pole, lacked the needed response into the stretch but stayed on well late to earn the show honors. TAPSTICK steadied off of heels while in tight into the first turn, was keen between rivals into the backstretch, chased two to three wide to the quarter marker, needed more into the stretch drive and passed tiring rivals late. DEVILMENT forwardly placed to the first turn, tracked the early pace three to four wide into the backstretch run and was well placed to the half-mile marker, went up and pressed the pace into the far turn, was outkicked to upper stretch, could not find more into the drive and weakened late. DISTINGUISHED GENT sent to be prominent away from the start, disputed the early pace along the first turn then took command into the backstretch, set a moderate pace while prompted to the half-mile pole, showed the way into the far turn, was overtaken to upper stretch, could not keep pace into the final furlong and faded. UFO (PER) was crowded at the start and off slowly, unhurried to the first turn, settled outside of rivals into the backstretch, coaxed three to four wide into the far turn, could not find the needed response into the stretch and did not threaten late. SHACE SLOANE hustled away from the start, contested the early pace from the inside, prompted the moderate pace to the half-mile marker, gave chase into the far turn, raced within aim nearing the top of the lane, could not find more late and tired in the drive. WORTH THE WAIT settled three wide into the first turn, not far back while between rivals heading to the half-mile point, lost position into the second turn and did not factor in the late stages. PRINCE OF DANGER settled into the first turn, saved ground along the backstretch, kept an inside path to the far turn, lost action nearing the quarter marker and was euthanized on the track.
