XY SPEED stalked in the three path, was ridden along the inside around the turn, tipped back out to the three path at the top of the lane, and stayed on to draw past the inner pacesetter late. REEF RUNNER bumped with an outer foe at the start, chased in the three path, was ridden around the turn, swung from the five path into the stretch, and ran on while on his left lead for place. YES I AM FREE set the pace inside, was ridden around the turn, kicked away from the two path in upper stretch, but got caught by an outer pair in the closing stages. PANTHER ISLAND tracked inside, got stymied in the two path turning into the stretch, and improved mildly along the inside. DOCTOR JEFF broke out and bumped an outer foe, raced off the pace in the two path, angled out to the six path turning into the lane, but made no impact. TAHOE SUNRISE got bumped by an inner foe at the start, trailed in the two path and did not threaten. KING CAB bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the pace in the four path but faded.
