MORGAN POINT stalked the pace three wide, took the lead leaving the three-eighths pole, dueled inside of HAVILDAR through the stretch run and dug in gamely to prevail. HAVILDAR settled off the early pace inside, angled four wide nearing the quarter pole, reached near even terms outside of the winner in upper stretch, dueled to the wire and was denied. MUGATU raced off the pace four and five wide, could not match strides with the top two but kept on to hold the show. TSHIEBWE dueled inside, was collared leaving the three-eighths marker and tired through the stretch. DIVO D'ORO dueled two wide, faltered midway around the turn and was easing through the lane.
