SECRET CHAT bumped with an outer foe at the start, tracked in the four path, angled to the rail entering the turn, then angled back out to the five path to take aim at the top of the lane, and drew clear of an inner foe in the final sixteenth. RAGING FURY rated in the five path, moved up passing the half to bid three wide and take the lead going into the turn, was roused from the four path entering the stretch, and stayed on, but was caught around the sixteenth by an outer foe. BELTS 'N BROOKS raced off the pace in the five path, was coaxed along around the turn, tipped into the three path entering the lane, and kept on. BLACK FURY chased in the six path, was ridden four wide around the turn, but flattened on his left lead while back in the six path down the stretch. AVANT GLORY was unprepared as the gates opened and broke slowly, trailed from wellback in the two path early and made no impact. RHUM SAINT ESPRIT vied for the lead in the two path, but had to check along the inside going into the turn, and faded in the stretch. FRANKS MIMI prompted the pace in the three path but retreated. MAKIZAN bumped with an inner foe at start, set the pace in the three path, had to steady while losing the lead going into the turn, and weakened. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER THE STEWARDS HELD AN INQUIRY TO LOOK AT THE START OF AVANT GLORY.
