WHAT IT TIZ set a rated pace inside, kicked clear around the turn, continued on the left lead in the lane and widened under a drive. EXPERT WITNESS lacked early, speed, advanced inside nearing the turn, chased at the rail around the bend, bumped with REPROCHE in upper stretch and again near the eighth pole, could not gain on the winner but won the place battle. REPROCHE prompted the winner two wide, could not match strides with that foe nearing the quarter pole, bumped with EXPERT WITNESS twice in the stretch and was outfinished for the place. UFO (PER) failed to menace while racing three wide. LAO WAY broke outwardly, saved ground off the pace and lacked a closing bid. BONFIGLIO hit the starting gate, had early speed three wide and retreated around the turn.
