UNCLE JOHN prompted the pace three to two wide and made a two wide bid to be clear leaving the turn and moved out to the four path, then held well to prove best under a drive. LONGBRANCH LOU was reserved early towards the inside, made a five wide move by the quarter pole and ran on willingly but could not get to the winner while being second best. BAYTOWN PARFAIT stalked the pace from the outside and made a three wide bid on the far turn but flattened out in the lane while staying on for the show. CARENTAN was well rated on the inside and then moved out to the two path and was in between rivals nearing the quarter pole but lacked the needed winning bid. TICKING was rated along two wide and split rivals nearing the quarter pole and swung out four wide leaving the turn but had no rally. NAVY CROSS was rated three wide and was four wide by the quarter pole but faded in the drive. LIGHT FURY set a pressured pace on the inside and gave way leaving the five sixteenths.
