LASER saved ground in range, advanced along the rail around the far turn, tipped two wide to split rivals near the quarter pole, drew clear in midstretch and widened under a drive. SENOR ROBERTO was off a bit slowly, checked entering the first turn, raced well back two wide, made progress between foes rounding the far turn then finished strongly inside to gain the place. DAVID PEPPERMAN raced off the pace two wide, advanced four wide around the far turn, ran on outside but was outfinished for the place. SCIENCE ROCKETS stalked the pace from the rail around the first turn, tipped two wide nearing the far turn, prompted two wide around most of the bend, was floated wider near the quarter pole and was outfinished in the lane. GANADOR raced in range two wide and was one-paced in the lane. MY FOOLISH NOTION set the pace along the rail and weakened through the final furlong. FOUR GUNS saved ground in midpack, tipped two wide in upper stretch, continued on the left lead in the lane, steadied off heels in midstretch and had no further bids. SEEDORF raced up close two and three wide and came up empty in the lane. THE LAST PAGE saved ground off the early, went four wide around the far turn and never threatened. ONE BID was outrun inside. HOLY COW got out entering the first turn, raced four to five wide and made little impact.
