BETTER WITH VINO tracked the pace four wide, bid nearing the quarter pole and drew clear under a drive in the lane. TURKISH PISTACHIO had her head turned at the start then stumbled, rushed up between foes around the turn, took the lead near the quarter pole but was no match for the winner in the drive. MY GIRL NINA raced up close inside, lacked a clear path around the turn, angled four wide near the quarter pole and ran on for the show. STARSHIP DAYTONA set the pace near the rail and weakened after a half. UNI MERLA broke in a tangle, raced three wide and never threatened. RIYAH AL NIL was outrun inside. MORE APPLAUSE had early speed three wide and retreated approaching the quarter pole.
