Footnotes
THEY CALL ME MOOSE tracked the early leaders three or four wide to bid early in the turn, went clear nearing the lane and held a safe margin under steady handling. ESCALABAUGAH contested the early lead inside, settled back and angled four wide into the lane, shied outward from a lefthanded whip through midstretch but rallied to gain the place from beyond midtrack. FLY HIGH TRIGGER stalked three or four wide and could not produce the needed late run. P R MORE WHISKEY contested the early lead three wide, continued evenly in the lane but was outfinished for the show.
