Footnotes
ENCHANTING broke well and stalked just behind the pacesetting ICED UP through the early stages, bided time on the turn while seemingly full of run, launched a bid at the top of the stretch, quickly went clear passing the furlong marker and won taken in hand near the wire. WAVER broke inward at the start, bothering MAYBE SO, was otherwise away quickly, was always close up while traveling well, launched a bid with three furlongs to run, finished up well under steady handling but was unable to reel in the winner in the stretch. SHE'S A DREAMER was not asked for speed from the break but advanced steadily down the backstretch and into the turn, took the two path through the turn then put into a stiff drive from the three furlong pole, came four wide into the stretch and finished willingly to gain the third spot.. DEVIL DARLING settled mid-pack after the break, was put into a drive from the half-mile pole, kept to the inside on the turn, finished well under steady pressure but lacked a winning bid. MAYBE SO shied from WAVER taking the path after the start, forcing MISS MOZETTI into SILIVAS, outrun and last early, raced at the back of the pack to the stretch, started to run on from the quarter pole and was mildly gaining in the stretch. MISS MOZETTI took a light bump from MAYBE SO then in turn bumped SILIVAS, was able to get good early position and stalked the pacesetter from between horses to the turn, went forward to challenge for the lead near the seven-sixteenths pole, took the lead at the five-sixteenths pole with DEADLY BEAUTY to the outside then flattened out in the stretch. BY REQUEST lacked early speed, launched a wide bid on the turn, came seven wide into the stretch, kept to task and was able to improve in the late stages. DEADLY BEAUTY was away well and stalked three deep behind the early leader, bid for the lead three wide in tandem with MISS MOZETTI after passing the three furlong marker, dueled that rival into the stretch then flattened out. RAZORS EDGE raced mid-pack but out four to five wide down the backstretch, tried to make a bid on the turn but never produced a rally and tired in the stretch. SILIVAS was bumped by MISS MOZETTI and steadied slightly at the break, was outrun and raced at the the pack through the early going, never threatened. ICED UP broke best and seized the early lead, went clear by a length or two heading into the turn, gave way before the five-sixteenths pole and had nothing to give in the stretch.
