Footnotes
GABARRA off well, tracked inside early while well placed, saved ground to the quarter pole, tipped three wide into the stretch, responded through the lane, surged in deep stretch and got up in time. CHARMING OAKIE pressed the early pace, battled into upper stretch, took command into the final furlong, all out while leading into the final sixteenth, gamely bested, held for second. MULTIPLE OPINIONS settled in the second flight, tracked three to four wide to the quarter pole, angled out at mid-stretch and finished well. PINEHURST (IRE) settled inside, tipped two wide into the stretch and gained at the furlong marker, stayed on into the final sixteenth and was outkicked late. WILL TAKE CASH chased between runners early, raced in traffic to the furlong marker and was outkicked in deep stretch. LOUISIANA FLASH close up to the early pace, chased four to five wide to the quarter pole and lacked the needed late response. GET RIPPED lunged at the start, settled to the turn, got caught in tight nearing the quarter marker, was blocked to deep stretch and could not recover late. CADILLAC COWBOY tracked from the outside, chased five to six wide to the turn and weakened. REGAL TEMPLE close up to the early pace, tracked three wide to the quarter pole and faded in the lane. SECRET TAVERN set pace inside, battled to upper stretch and gave way late. LEMON MERINGUE hard to load and pinched at the start, trailed to the turn, swung widest and did not threaten.
