LITTLEJOHNS PRAYER tracked the early pace from the inside, was well placed while saving ground nearing the quarter marker, loomed into the stretch, responded to urging into the final sixteenth, vied for the lead in deep stretch and prevailed in the final strides. BAR HOPPIN BILLY stalked the early pace outside of CHASING THE RUSH, pressed that rival along the turn then vied for the lead into upper stretch, battled to the final sixteenth, fought gamely to deep stretch and just missed for the win, while besting the rest. MIDNIGHT TWISTER settled off of the early pace while never far back, tracked the leading pair three wide along the turn, bid into the stretch, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and was clear of the rest for third. CHASING THE RUSH showed good early speed and assumed command, set a moderate pace while prompted into the turn, battled into the stretch, could not hold off rivals into the final sixteenth and faded late. WON MORE TIME ducked in at the start and was off slowly, trailed to the half-mile marker, chased three wide into the turn, swung to the four path into the stretch, offered a mild late rally but needed more in the final stages. REDFORTYSEVEN tracked the early pace from between runners, shifted to the rail nearing the turn, chased from the inside approaching the quarter marker, swung widest into the stretch and gained at the furlong marker, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and weakened late. BENNETT'S LEADER took back off of the moderate early pace, trailed into the turn, saved ground to the top of the stretch and did not factor in the drive.
