PERLIANO vied for the early lead three deep and between runners, engaged with EL MERO MERO and disputed the pace outside of that rival heading to the turn, dueled three wide to the quarter pole then battled into upper stretch, shook free then drew clear at the furlong grounds, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. OPTIMAL TRIP settled off of the early pace, swung widest into upper stretch then closed willingly into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner into deep stretch and was second best. I'M A COWBOY took back off of the contested early pace, advanced three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, tipped five wide in upper stretch and bid at the furlong marker, was outkicked in the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. MY FAVORITE SONG prominent early, rated just off of the decent early pace and saved ground to the turn, well placed nearing the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch and remained in contention at the furlong pole, could not find the needed late response then weakened in deep stretch. EL MERO MERO showed early speed and vied between runners away from the start, engaged with PERLIANO and disputed the decent pace inside of that rival heading to the turn, dueled to the quarter pole then battled into upper stretch, could not keep pace at the furlong marker and faded in the drive. VALDINA DREAMS prominent away from the start, vied for the early lead four deep then took back and tracked the decent pace heading to the turn, ran in pursuit four wide to the quarter pole, lacked a response at mid-stretch then gave way in the late stages. PREFERITO DA BARBI a step slow away from the start, settled off of the decent early pace, saved ground to the turn then did not factor in the stretch drive. IN BOND WE TRUST lacked early speed and trailed throughout.
