CONTRABBANDA bobbled at the start and was a step slow to begin, settled off of the early pace while never far back, raced two wide and between foes into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace between rivals up the backstretch, angled three to four wide into the stretch and closed determinedly into the final furlong, confronted BOLTORO nearing the sixteenth-pole, wore down the runner-up in deep stretch and edged away late to prevail. BOLTORO vied for the early lead, assumed command three wide and between foes into the first turn, set the pace between rivals into the backstretch, dictated terms to the quarter pole then was set down for the drive, met the bid of CONTRABBANDA nearing the sixteenth-pole, was bested in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for second. CHARLUCHE vied for the early lead from between runners, saved ground into the first turn then ceded the lead to BOLTORO into the backstretch run, attended to the moderate pace heading to the half-mile pole, gave chase into the far turn, outkicked into upper stretch, stayed on into the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. CHAINSAW CITY took back off of the early pace, tracked three wide into the first turn, was well placed while widest up the backstretch, chased four to five wide into the second turn, was outrun into the stretch and passed a tiring rival late. MIZ RITHYM tracked the early pace four then three wide into the first turn, was well placed into the backstretch run, stalked the modest pace three deep nearing the half-mile marker then ran in pursuit three wide into the second turn, could not find the needed response into upper stretch and gave way in the drive. UTSIRA settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the first turn, was steered to the outside and tracked the modest pace three wide into the backstretch, chased three wide to the quarter pole, was outrun to the stretch and stopped in the final furlong. ANNAMARIA was forwardly placed away from the start and saved ground to the first turn, tracked the modest pace while saving ground through the backstretch run, was outrun to the quarter marker, eased in the stretch drive and walked off under her own power.
