PANTHERA reserved in the early going, settled two wide and inside of runners into the first turn, unhurried while never far back through the backstretch, stayed to the inside of runners into the second turn then got caught in tight nearing the quarter marker, split rivals into upper stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong grounds, battled CASHMERE DANCER to the sixteenth-pole, found more into deep stretch and kicked clear in the final stages. CASHMERE DANCER broke out a step at the start and crowded a neighboring rival, settled three wide and between runners into the first turn, unhurried while never far back through the backstretch, loomed three wide into the second turn and vied for the lead into the lane, battled PANTHERA to the sixteenth-marker, could not keep pace with the winner into deep stretch and was a clear second best. INCLUDING ELLIE was crowded at the break and was off a bit slowly, settled three to four wide into the first turn, unhurried through the backstretch while widest nearing the half-mile, mounted a three to four wide bid approaching the quarter marker, chased five wide into the stretch and battled to the furlong marker, could not match strides with the top pair into the final sixteenth and ran on to be clear in the end for third. TITUBA vied for the lead inside of runners then assumed command into the first turn, set moderate fractions while prompted through the backstretch, dictated terms to the quarter pole then was overtaken into upper stretch, chased to the furlong marker then faded late. POETIC UNION forwardly placed early, stalked the pace three wide into the first turn, took back into the backstretch and tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile, lost position approaching the second turn and gave way. CAFEZINHO vied for the early lead from between runners, ceded to TITUBA and prompted that rival through moderate fractions into the backstretch, attended to the pace two wide into the second turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the drive.
