EXCAPING THE BLUES prominent early, stalked the pace between rivals along the first turn, attended to the decent pace through the backstretch, roused at the quarter marker, confronted TRANSACTIONAL and battled that rival to mid-stretch, found more into the final sixteenth and drew away late under hand urging. TRANSACTIONAL (GB) sent to assume early command, set decent fractions while prompted up the backstretch, confronted by EXCAPING THE BLUES into the stretch, battled that rival to the furlong grounds, was no match for the winner into the final sixteenth and was second best. MR INSENSITIVE settled in the second flight to begin, chased three to four wide into the stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final sixteenth and got up in for the show honors. SUMMER LOVER close up early on, tracked three wide to the first turn, tucked inside and was well placed while tracking along the backstretch, saved ground to the quarter marker, weakened in the stretch drive and just missed for the show. KERAUNOS well placed while tracking the early pace from the inside, saved ground to the top of the lane, could not muster a late response and was outfinished for the show honors. DEN'S GOOD GRACE settled two wide and between runners into the first turn, shifted inside and saved ground to the second turn, chased two wide into the stretch and lacked a late response. MIAMI MOONLIGHT settled and saved ground into the first turn, chased two to three wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten in the late stages. MISTER MONTE CARLO settled three wide into the first turn, unhurried while two wide and between runners through the backstretch, saved ground into the far turn and did not offer the needed late response. SINGING DIXIE settled three to four wide into the first turn, unhurried while widest through the backstretch, chased three wide to the quarter marker and did not factor late. BAY BE GONE settled while saving ground early, swung widest into the stretch and could not make a late impact.
