UP UP AND AWAY settled off of the early pace, made a steady advance while widest up the backstretch, loomed three wide nearing the quarter marker, took command into upper stretch then drew clear at the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth and held sway under hand urging in the late stages. HARD GOLD close up to the early pace, took back and tracked outside of runners into the backstretch, well placed nearing the far turn, saved ground while advancing nearing the quarter pole, angled three wide into upper stretch, chased UP UP AND AWAY through the lane, could not make headway on the winner into the final sixteenth and was a clear second best. HELLO HELLO MISTER hustled away from the start, vied for the early lead then ceded to SHARP LORENZO and tracked that runner into the backstretch, attended to the moderate pace nearing the half-mile, chased two wide and between runners heading to the quarter pole, floated four wide into upper stretch, could not keep pace with the top pair into the final sixteenth and was clear for the show. SHARP LORENZO vied for the early lead, assumed command along the first turn and set a moderate pace into the backstretch, controlled the pace to the half-mile pole, dictated terms into the second turn then came under pressure at the quarter pole, was overtaken into upper stretch and tired in the drive. CAPOTE'S GLITTER hopped then was squeezed at the start and was away slowly, settled along the inside into the first turn, trailed into the backstretch and was never a factor.
