GYPSAN close up to the early pace, took back and settled two to three wide into the first turn, tracked the decent pace three deep approaching the half-mile marker, chased four wide to the quarter pole, made a sustained rally through the lane, surged in the final sixteenth and got up in the final strides to prevail. PERCEPTIVE vied for the early lead between runners, took a narrow lead into the backstretch and carved out moderate fractions while pressured to the half-mile, slipped to the rail into the far turn and led to the quarter pole, was set down into upper stretch, dug in and led to the furlong grounds, kept to task while all out into the final sixteenth, was caught in deep stretch by the oncoming winner and held clearly for second. CAPETOWN CANDY prominent early, took back and settled inside of runners into the first turn, tracked the decent pace two wide and between runners up the backstretch, saved ground to the second turn, got caught in tight and chased three wide to the quarter pole, swung four wide for the drive, needed more in the late stages and made a mild late rally to secure the show honors. MISTY MOOD settled four wide into the first turn, tracked the decent pace while widest up the backstretch, vied for the lead three wide into the second turn, battled PERCEPTIVE into upper stretch, fought to the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. GOSPEL FREELY unhurried away from the start, content to trail up the backstretch, saved ground to the quarter marker then angled out into upper stretch, gained ground at the furlong marker, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and flattened out. LEPRECHAUN CHARM forwardly placed early, tracked the pace three wide along the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, chased two wide and between runners into the second turn, waited a bit for racing room nearing the quarter marker, lacked the needed response into upper stretch and gave way. GOSPEL EXPRESSION prominent early, vied for the lead three wide to the first turn, pressed the decent pace up the backstretch, battled between runners into the second turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and faded in the drive. FLATTER ME ZEN hopped at the start and was away slowly, settled while saving ground to the first turn, shifted to the outside along the backstretch, chased four wide to the quarter pole, lacked a response into the stretch and tired in the final furlong. ANNA UP vied for the early lead while inside of rivals, saved ground to the first turn then stalked the pace from the inside into the backstretch, lost ground nearing the quarter marker and came up empty in the stretch. SOLECITA away in good order, settled off of the early pace and saved ground to the first turn, saved ground while never far back through the backstretch, maintained an inside trip to the second turn, was outrun to the quarter pole and tired in the stretch.
