Footnotes
MULTIPLICATION always close to the front, ceded the early lead and stalked two wide into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace to the half-mile pole, loomed two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, made a quick move to take command into upper stretch, drew off through the lane and was hand urged to the wire to win as much the best. MAYBE SO sent to assume early command, set moderate fractions while clear through the backstretch, led to the quarter marker then was overtaken into upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the final furlong and stayed on well late to be second best. VIOLET KITTEN settled while saving ground to the first turn, maintained an inside trip up the backstretch and made a steady advance to the second turn, saved all of the ground to the far turn, could not match strides with the top pair in the stretch and held well in the final sixteenth for the show. GLOBAL ALLURE prominent early, stalked the pace while saving ground to the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, saved all of the ground to the far turn then tipped two wide into the stretch, weakened in the drive and was outfinished late for the show. WILD STEEL settled between runners into the first turn, never far back through the backstretch, was caught in tight and steadied nearing the half-mile pole, chased the pace two wide and between rivals to the quarter pole then gave way in the stretch. BREAK THE LAW forwardly placed early, tracked the pace four wide to the first turn, well placed while outside of runners into the backstretch, chased three to four wide into the second turn, lacked a response into the stretch then faltered. RITZY MISCHIEF bobbled at the start and was off a bit slowly, settled outside of runners into the first turn, saved ground to the quarter pole and did not make a late impact. VERY UNLIKELY unhurried early on, saved ground to the second turn, swung four wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. THE Y FACTOR tracked the pace three wide to the first turn, never far back through the backstretch, chased two wide and between runners to the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. BELLERIA BABY settled three wide and in the second flight to begin, chased three to four wide approaching the second turn, stopped in upper stretch, was eased through the lane and walked off under her own power.
