Footnotes
TOM SAWYER vied for the early lead from between runners, saved ground into the turn then dueled UNBRIDLED BLING to the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch and shook free at the furlong marker, kept to task into the final sixteenth, dug in into deep stretch and held for the win at the wire. TURN NORTH tracked the solid early pace from the second flight, was well placed while four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, chased into the stretch then drifted in and crowded a rival at the furlong marker, rallied into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and held well late for second. VINO TEXAS JESS settled off of the solid early pace, was shuffled back a bit midway through the turn, swung seven wide into the stretch, was full of run into the final sixteenth and just missed for the place, while getting up in time for the show. LUCKY PROMISE chased the quick early pace from between runners, ran in pursuit three wide to the quarter marker, raced in tight into the stretch and steadied at the furlong marker, stubbornly fought on to the final sixteenth and was outfinished in deep stretch. PAINTED LAD off a bit slowly, raced greenly and climbed in the early stages, saved ground to the turn, swung four wide and chased to upper stretch, advanced between runners at the furlong marker then was outkicked in the final sixteenth. FLYING CAESAR tracked the solid early pace three wide and between runners, was well placed to the turn then chased three wide to the quarter pole, angled four to five wide into the lane, gained ground at the furlong marker then was outkicked in deep stretch. BUBBA'S RECKLESS took back off of the solid early pace, saved ground into the turn then ran in pursuit to the quarter pole, loomed into upper stretch, could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. MOVEN VAN settled outside of runners in the early stages, chased three then two wide nearing the quarter marker, improved position into the stretch then could not sustain that run into the final sixteenth. UNBRIDLED BLING showed good early speed and set a pressured pace to the turn, dueled TOM SAWYER through quick fractions nearing the quarter marker, battled into the stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and weakened late. DARYLS TRUMP CARD a step slow to begin, allowed to settle and saved ground into the turn, saved ground to upper stretch and advanced nearing the quarter marker, lacked room into the final sixteenth and did not offer a late response. RECKLESS RED vied for the early lead from inside of runners, took back and chased the quick pace heading to the turn, saved ground along the bend then angled three wide at the quarter marker, was outkicked into the stretch and tired in the final furlong. THERE WAS A CLAIM OF FOUL LOGED BY THE RIDER OF LUCKY PROMISE AGAINST THE RIDER OF TURN NORTH FOR INTERFERENCE AT MID-STRETCH. THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
