OLD BOYS CLUB rated just off of the early pace, saved ground into the first turn then tracked two wide and between rivals up the backstretch, roused three wide at the quarter pole, loomed into the stretch then vied for the lead at the furlong marker, battled while clinging to a narrow lead into the final sixteenth and held well in deep stretch for a determined win. JUTE BOX allowed to settle while never far back, tracked the early pace two wide and between runners to the first turn, well placed through the backstretch run, navigated traffic into the second turn then bid four wide into the stretch, made a sustained rally into the final sixteenth, surged in deep stretch and missed for the win, while getting up in time for the place. BIG NICKEL showed good early speed and assumed command away from the start, set the pace from the inside into the first turn, carved out decent fractions while prompted up the backstretch, maintained a narrow lead to the quarter marker then dug in into the stretch, fought gamely to the final sixteenth and grudgingly gave way in deep stretch, while just missing for the place and just holding for the show. INACLASSOFMYOWN prominent in the early stages, stalked the pace two wide and between runners into the first turn, prompted the moderate pace up the backstretch, went up and pressed the pace into the far turn then battled into upper stretch, vied between rivals at the furlong marker, fought gamely to the final sixteenth and was outfinished in deep stretch in a good effort. ROCKY ROCK IT unhurried away from the start, settled and saved ground to the first turn, never far back while saving ground through the backstretch, waited for racing room at the quarter marker, found a small opening into upper stretch and advanced at the furlong marker, was boxed in to the final sixteenth and did not offer a late rally. CAUSE MIMI SAID settled just off of the early pace then tracked three to four wide to the first turn, well placed while four deep nearing the half-mile marker, chased four wide to the second turn, ran in pursuit five wide into the stretch, ran evenly to the furlong marker and weakened in the late stages. GET DREAMY settled outside of rivals into the first turn, unhurried while never far back and widest nearing the half-mile pole, chased five wide into the second turn, swung six wide for the drive, was outkicked at mid-stretch and gave way in the final furlong. ROYALIST rated off of the early pace and saved ground into the first turn, tracked the moderate pace while saving ground up the backstretch, saved all of the ground to the quarter marker, chased into upper stretch then tired in the drive. CHAHTA CITIZEN prominent away from the start, stalked the early pace three wide into the first turn, was well placed into the backstretch then tracked the moderate pace three deep nearing the half-mile marker, lost position nearing the quarter marker, was outrun into the stretch and faltered in the late stages.
