Footnotes
KINKY MOON broke on top but ceded the lead to LEMON MARMALADE, stalked that foe to the turn, then assumed command passing the five-sixteenths pole, opened up in the stretch under urging and went on to win clear. SAY AS I SAY tracked three deep with the second flight, bid three wide into the stretch and emerged from the pack as the lone challenger to the winner, could not catch that foe but finished clearly best of the rest. RUN JUDY RUN raced five to six wide in the tracking group then six wide into the stretch, finished with good interest to gain the third spot but well behind the top pair. CALLE REINA raced two from the rail with the tracking group, ran on some in the stretch but lacked a winning kick. TRIBE tracked behind the pacesetters inside of the second flight, had to wait for racing room late on the turn, found clear running turning for home but lacked a finish. LEMON MARMALADE broke well then went to the lead, set a pressured pace to the turn, gave way to KINKY MOON passing the five-sixteenths and tired in the stretch. LA AMERICANA C a bit slow to start, dropped to last early, trailed far back and was never a threat.
