SILVER STEF HIT broke alertly and had forward position going into the first turn, ceded the lead to FIST BUMP RIDGE while settling into a stalking position to the inside, assumed command passing the three furlong marker, came into the stretch with a clear lead then widened under steady handling and intermittent urging. HE'S CHARMING got pinballed at the start but came away forwardly placed in the early stages, tracked two wide in the second flank down the backstretch, bided time in traffic through the far turn, tipped out three wide in the stretch and chased the winner to the wire while well clear of the next horse. IHAVETOOMUCHAIR came away from the gate in good order then settled two then three wide through the first turn near the rear of the field, continued that path through the far turn then finished strong under right handed urging to gain the third spot. MR JAWS broke in and forced HE'S CHARMING into XANDER S at the start, then pushed to get forward position into the first turn, got a good stalking position three wide down the backstretch, then started a bid with three furlongs to run, stalled while lugging in and was unable to threaten. XANDER S broke outward and steadied after making contact with HE'S CHARMING after the break, settled mid-pack on the inside down the backstretch, moved up through the turn and loomed menacingly approaching the quarter pole but failed to produce a rally and was not factor in the stretch. REDFORTYSEVEN lunged, then came away awkwardly at the start, took an inside path through the first turn racing near the rear of the field, became boxed in through the turn on the rail, waited for room to the top of the stretch then did not go on when asked and finished evenly. C J'S MISCHIEF raced in the middle of the second flight under cover to the far turn then lacked a rally once clear in the stretch. LEONARDO CREED was unhurried from the break then settled inside at the rear of the field through the early stages, moved into contention approaching the three furlong pole but found the path blocked, stayed to the inside through the turn, still behind horses, then had little to offer in the stretch. FIST BUMP RIDGE took the lead into the first turn and set a pressured pace to the far turn, gave way before the three furlong marker and steadily faded through the field on the turn and had nothing to offer late. FAIR WEATHER FLYER was caught four wide through the initial bend then continued to track on the outside of the field, came under a ride on the far turn but came up empty in the stretch.
