IMALUCKYCHARM came away well and gained the lead with some mild pressure, took the field to the stretch setting reasonable fractions then had plenty in reserve when called upon at the top of the stretch, went clear and was not threatened in the stretch. OUR DAVINA broke outward at the start and made some light contact with WILD EXPRESS, settled inside at the rear of the first flight, gradually advanced uo the rail into the far turn, got shuffled back to near the rear then came back on in the stretch to gain the second spot. SKY ROCKER got forward position early and pressed through the early stages three wide, chased I'MALUCKYCHARM into the stretch, could not narrow the margin and was passed late for second. TALKIN CADEE got caught three wide turning on to the main course from the chute and through the first turn, tracked from the middle of the pack, was put into a drive with a little over two furlongs to run and produced a steady but grinding finish and just missed a minor award. WILD EXPRESS got brushed at the start by OUR DAVINA, worked over to the inside the tracked in the second flight, got close on the backstretch run, became boxed in on the turn and into the stretch but did not have the needed response once clear. VIEWERS DISCRETION tracked four wide with the forward group, tried to launch a three wide bid from the quarter pole but was outkicked in the stretch. PAINTBRUSH last through the early stages and seemingly content with that position to the half, came about six wide into the stretch, and passed a couple while never a serious threat. GASTOWN lagged at the back of the field through the early stages, then bid three wide into the stretch but could not make an impact. SAN MATEO KAT was prominent through the early running, started to struggle to keep up approaching the quarter pole, was kept to task to mid-stretch and stopped. #7 PAINTBRUSH RACED FOR PURSE MONEY ONLY.
