ROCKING ROCKET broke well and sped clear early, was confidently ridden through the turn, then given the cue to go at the eighth pole and drew away to an easy win. MY LITTLE PRINCE was restless in the gate, pushed from the gate but did not display any early speed, kept to the inside through the turn then angled out to the three path, finished with some interest but could not get to the winner. RECKLESS RED came away well and tracked close up three wide down the backstretch, started to move towards the runaway leader passing the quarter pole, loomed a the top of the stretch but could not get to the eventual winner but won a tight contest for the last minor award. DOSE'S DREAM had to be coaxed early to keep in contact with the field, advanced inside through the turn, the was put to strong encouragement in the stretch and finished willingly but was not good enough. SAM SEZ hustled from the break and was under a ride from the start, raced five wide down the backstretch then three wide through the turn, went a little flat in the stretch and finished evenly. WEIRD YEAR was pinched back after the start and was unable to keep pace and dropped far behind early, swung six wide into the stretch and made a mild late bid to improve while never a serious threat. PLAY RULE stumbled badly at the start with the rider showing excellent balance to stay aboard, then was hustled in the early mix but caught five wide through the turn and came up empty in the stretch. IMMA BLINGY LAD chased ROCKING ROCKET through the early stages, then dropped off the pace under a drive from the five-sixteenth pole continued the steady fade in the stretch.
