Footnotes
LEVIATHAN AXE settled mid-pack under a rating hold for the first half mile, kept to the inside through the far turn then responded when roused at the quarter pole, rallied up the rail in the stretch went clear in mid stretch and won well. TWELVE VOLT tracked behind the runaway winner through the early stages, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths pole could not match strides with the winner but kept on under steady urging to hold the place. ISLAND CABANA tracked mid-pack but toward the rear of the field, saved ground on the far turn and ran on well enough in the stretch to gain the third spot. AMERICAN ICON went three wide through the first turn then tracked the pacesetter just to the outside of TWELVE VOLT, loomed four wide at the top of the stretch but legged in through most of the stretch run and flattened out. STRUCTURED raced mid-pack through the early stages, made a mild inside bid in the stretch, was blocked mid-stretch but unable to summon another gear when needed. ONEPARTICULRHARBOR raced inside near the rear of the field and lacked a late bid. ALL COUNTRY was sent hard from the break and opened up on the field on the first turn, went three clear down the backstretch then fought back when challenged passing the quarter pole, failed to change leads and was overtaken in mid-stretch. SOMERSETSLASTRIDE was always near the rear and never a factor. NEPHI was outrun.
