THE DEVIL'S BET broke sharply and was first to the front, led the field through the turn then had plenty in reserve when roused at the top of the stretch and went clear under a steady hand ride to the wire. BERRY MISCHIEVOUS got forward position to the inside just behind the leaders, was always close up but could not go on when the eventual winner slipped away and chased that rival home and held off a late closing rival to save the place. DUSTINS DENILE showed good speed from the outside and pressed three wide early, lost ground at the top of the stretch but came back on under steady handling, was closing the margin on the second horse but came up short. CHASING THE RUSH got away well and got a stalking position just behind THE DEVIL'S BET, was unable to get to the top three but finished well and held position to he wire. BRADIX raced three wide with the tracking group, then finished evenly under a drive. FLY RED BIRD FLY got bumped by POLLITO TITO after the start, was unable to keep up early and raced near the back of the main pack to the turn, came wide into the stretch and was unable to threaten. WITT'S RINGER was off a bit slowly then rushed up into contention, kept to the inside through the turn but was outfinished. POLLITO TITO broke in and bumped FLY RED BIRD FLY, steadied then lacked any early speed, dropped far behind early and chased the field to the stretch, ran on some from the back and passed a couple of horses late. FIST BUMP RIDGE settled at the back of the pack while getting to the rail and saving ground through the turn, steadied coming into the stretch and was not persevered with late. TEXANO HERO was away well between horses early, dropped back and was unable threaten late.
