Footnotes
LOUISIANA FLASH pressed WILL TAKE CASH through the early stages then pulled even at the top of the stretch, dueled to the furlong grounds then edged clear late. WILL TAKE CASH rushed up from the inside to take the early lead, fought back gamely when LOUISIANA FLASH bid for the lead from the quarter pole but gave way mid-stretch and saved the place. SLEW SKIES was slow into stride and dropped far behind early then finished with good energy but was too late, got up for the show money. FLYING CAESAR raced mid-pack down the backstretch, started to advance on the leaders while taking the two path through the turn, chased the top pair while racing on the left lead through the stretch and flattened out. KANGAROO COAST was at the back of the main pack down the backstretch, was under a ride from the start, went four wide through the turn came into the stretch on the left lead and faltered. TEXAS ADOPTER broke well but was unable to keep up early, went into a drive from the three furlong marker then went flat in the stretch. ROAD TO ELDORADO stalked the pacesetters three wide through the turn then shortened strides under pressure in the stretch. COMPETITIVE SHOCK came away in the middle of the pack, was coaxed inside to keep pace but dropped back and was not a factor in the stretch.
