RISKY WITH WHISKEY was hustled from the inside and established a clear lead, maintained through the turn then dug in when KARANTHOS made a challenge leaving the quarter pole, engaged that foe in a spirited duel the length of the stretch and could not be separated at the finish. KARANTHOS came away well and tracked RISKY WITH WHISKEY down the backstretch, went to put some pressure on near the quarter pole then went head-to-head with that rival down the lane and was on even terms at the wire. AUDREY'S MUSIC was a little slow into stride then made a mild advance through the turn then kept on well despite racing on the left lead in the stretch and earned the third placing. CAUSE MIMI SAID settled at the back of the pack through the early running, saved ground through the turn then went two wide into the turn and ran on some late but was not good enough. WORK ZONE raced in the middle of the tracking group then came under a ride on the turn but was outfinished. MISCHIEF MAC was inside with the tracking group then was close up through the turn without a path forward, did not respond when asked at the quarter pole and faded in the stretch. OH AND GEE raced three wide down the backstretch, retreated under pressure on the turn and chased far back to the finish.
