Footnotes
ESTABLISHED broke well and was hustled to get forward position, raced mid-pack while being ridden to keep pace, pulled even four wide through the turn then was put to strong handling and intermittent urging, edged clear in mid-stretch and held to the wire. THIRD STREET broke well then was not asked to keep up early, launched a three to four bid through the turn then finished willingly under steady handling and urging and won the race for second. SOUL SACRIFICE broke inward at the start and made light contact with SIR STERLING, raced near the back of a very compact field to the turn, tipped out to the three path at the quarter pole then produced a grinding finish under steady handling and won the race for the third spot. STAYED IN FOR HALF got a good break and vied four wide took a brief lead in upper stretch but flattened and was outfinished in the final furlong. SIR STERLING broke out at the start and mutually bumped with SOUL SACRIFICE, briefly steadied the rushed up to join STAYED IN FOR HALF on the lead, started to drop back as two more joined the fray to the outside, lost position then came back on under handling then tired. KENTUCKY DAWN was close up early without really being asked, ceded the led early then bid between horses leaving the three furlong pole, weakened in upper stretch but was kept to task to the finish. LEA ME BE bobbled then threw the head up after the start, spotting the field a head start, chased three wide then was unable to keep pace on the turn and was unable to make an impact.
