BURNING SHORES AA got away quickest and went straight to the front, held sway through the turn the finished well under steady handling, held off a mild bid in the final yards by a rival on the outside. TRIUMPH AA pressed the pace two wide always a length or two behind, made a final push in the late stages and was slowly gaining but could not get there in time. WMA ATLAS raced well off the pace through the early stages then made a tepid late bid under heavy pressure to gain third. AA BURNING OASIS raced evenly tracking the early pace then was unable to threaten in the stretch. FFIONNA dropped far back right from the start and was never a threat.
