Footnotes
ROYAL COACH broke well then showed good speed and was guided over to the rail, had a clear lead turning onto the main course then opened up on the first turn, got a bit of a breather down the backstretch, was patiently ridden as the field bunched up behind, then, responded when set down at the top of the stretch, quickened and went clear, easily holding the rest at bay under steady handling. SAGITTARIUS shied from PHILANTHROPER at the start causing BISHOP CREEK to bump into GUNNY HIGHWAY, went unhurried early then advanced up the rail down the backstretch, got a clean rail run i the stretch and finished well under steady handling and urging but could not get to the winner while finishing clear of the next horse. MONEYLINE got away well and tracked ROYAL COACH to the far turn, made a mild challenge late on the turn but could not match strides, was kept to task down the stretch but lost the place. MAGNA TAP settled inside, tracked well off the pace early, advanced steadily down the backstretch, saved some ground through the turn but could not find the winning kick in the stretch. NERKY ROSE settled at the back early, made a four wide bid through the last turn, came six wide into the stretch and finished well under handling but was not a serious threat. GOLD PRIZE lacked any early speed and was tracking far pack despite the slow pace, launched a mild bid leaving the three furlong marker, and finished with some interest while never a serious threat. BISHOP CREEK got crowded, bumped and shuffled back to last at the start, settled along the rail but far back of the pace, saved all the ground to the far turn, was still last past the quarter pole then produced a mild finish when set down but could not make an impact. GUNNY HIGHWAY steadied early on the outside of the messy start, settled in the back half of the field two wide, raced two to three wide through out and was unable to overcome the slow pace. PHILANTHROPER broke outward at the start and cause a chain reaction of trouble to the outside but otherwide got away well, raced a bit keen early, then settled mid-pack, launched a two wide bid from the three furlong marker, loomed a threat in upper stretch but weakened and was not a factor late. KENTUCKY DREAMIN raced at the head if the tracking group then was having to be hard ridden to keep up through the far turn but had nothing left.
