Footnotes
TAPITURES ACTOR got caught three wide into the first turn but got forward position, pressed the pace three wide then took a slight lead halfway down the the backstretch, was let loose and opened up on the field midway through the turn, then was going well when set down at the top of the stretch, held sway under a steady drive and urging and won clear. GLOBAL HOLIDAY took a bump at the start and got shuffled back, settled well off the pace early, started to rally from the three furlong marker with an inside run through the far turn, then bid three wide into the stretch then had trouble with the lead changes, hung and could not get to the winner. HEY COWGIRL tracked three wide mid-pack, advanced into contention heading into the far turn, finished willingly but came up short. NOBLE AWARE was always close up then slipped through to bid for the lead passing the seven-sixteenths pole, then chased TAPITURES ACTOR late on the turn and into the stretch, could not match strides and tired late. MIGHTY ENTICING was coaxed a little into the first turn but settled well behind the pace, was being ridden some to regain contact with the field but dropped further behind instead, was kept in a drive and started to gain some ground on the far turn but flattened out and was not a serious factor in the late stages. EVENING EDGE came away well and was close up early, started to struggle to keep up passing the three furlong marker and had nothing left late. BLINGSTER gained the lead and tried to slow down the pace under a stiff hold, started to drop out when passed by a pair of rivals to the inside and outside at the half-mile marker, and had nothing to offer late.
