FOR TEXAS ACCREDITED FILLIES AND MARES, FOUR YEARS OLD AND UPWARD. No nomination fee. $500 due at time of entry. Starters to pay an additional $500. Supplemental nominations in the amount of $2,000 may be made at time of entry and shall include all fees. $5,000 from Open plus $70,000 Added from the TTA Event Fund plus all fees to be distributed: $1,000 to all starters sixth through last. The remaining balance to be distributed: 60% to the winner, 20% to second, 11% to third, 6% to fourth and 3% to fifth. Weight: 123 lbs. Non-winners of a Sweepstakes in 2024 - 2025 allowed 3 lbs. Non-winners of two races since September 22, 2024 allowed 5 lbs. (Maiden, Claiming and Starter races not considered in weight allowances.) This race will be limited to fourteen starters with preference to horses with highest earnings in 2024-2025 at time of entry. Horses not drawing a starting position in the gate will receive a refund of the entry fee. Starters to be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. TOO MUCH KIKI got off to a slow start then made steady forward progress down the backstretch and through the turn, went five wide into the stretch then produced a big finish when set down and won clear. IZATIZ raced between horses on the early pace, kept on into the stretch, was no match for the winner but kept on in a grinding finish to earn second. HONEST settled in mid-pack then launched a bid from the five-sixteenths pole, rallied up the inside into the stretch, split horses late and was outnodded for the place. RECLUSIVE was off slow and unhurried early and last into the turn, rallied four wide into the stretch and finished with a rush and improved. CITY GHOST broke well and contested the early pace from the inside, opened a slight lead at the top of the stretch but weakened in the final furlong. BLUSHING BELLE was three wide in the early pace battle, struggled to keep up from the quarter pole altered course mid-stretch and went evenly late. UPTOWNBLINGITHOME broke well and vied five wide for the early lead, remained close up through the run and loomed a big threat approaching the quarter pole, came under pressure at the top of the stretch but did not respond and finished one-paced. SUCCESSFULPATH raced four to five wide throughout and lacked a late bid. TEXAS RED BEL broke well and was up with the early pace battle for about a furlong, backed off before the half then steadied just past the seven-sixteenth pole and could not recover momentum. PEEK FACTOR broke slowly, chased inside then regained contact with the field before the turn, lacked racing room through the turn then did not respond when asked to go in the stretch and was outfinished.
