Footnotes
TX WOMEN FOR ARTS stalked the slow pace from the inside, then took advantage of an open rail into the stretch, took a short lead and held sway under steady handling and intermittent urging. CAJUN NINJA broke well, seized the lead and was able to dictate soft fractions, edged ahead late on the turn and responded when sent put to urging past the quarter pole, battled back when challenged by TX WOMEN FOR ARTS in the stretch conceded late near the wire but was able to hold second. BLAMEITONMIDNIGHT tracked three wide down the backstretch and through the turn, put in a mild late run up the rail in the stretch but could only chase the top pair to the wire. MIDNIGHT LADY settled behind the early pace while racing two to three wide, made a mild three wide bid late but could not summon a late kick. LOVE TANK was last early but not far back in the compact field, started to lose ground passing the three furlong pole and was not a factor late.
