Footnotes
ATHENA D'ORO raced mid-pack under a rating hold, bided time until the far turn, launched a five wide bid from before the quarter pole, carried good momentum into the stretch, dueled with KAUSE I'M DEVINE through the last furlong and prevailed in a game effort. KAUSE I'M DEVINE reserved early, advanced steadily three wide down the backstretch, went five wide through the stretch the seven wide into the turn, produced a bold rally that included a spirited duel with ATHENA D'ORO through the final yards but could not vanquish the winner. HOLIDAY PRESENCE was content to track the pace inside, rating kindly to the end of the backstretch, became stuck on the rail but bided time patiently through the far turn, waited until just before mid-stretch to make a run, finished well but could not match the top pair. SALTAMONTES DIVA lagged near the back of the field through the early stages, got over to the two path coming out of the first turn, advanced into contention two wide on the far turn, looked to get clear to the outside in the stretch but was unable to do so, finished well under steady handling and improved late. ALL AMERICAN LADY broke well and set out for the early lead, went two wide through the first bend then went to the front as the field turned on to the backstretch, was allowed to dictate the pace to the far turn, then was roused going into that turn, went a length or so clear, had a narrow advantage at the top of the stretch but soon surrounded and gave way with a furlong to run. CAYMAN HOT broke well and was first into the first turn, ceded the pacesetting duties to ALL AMERICAN LADY but remained a presence to the inside, keeping pressure on to the far turn, made a mild bid passing the quarter pole but went one-paced in the stretch and was outfinished. UNDO THE RIGHT raced in the middle of the pack to the inside, steadied near the three-sixteenths pole with nowhere to run, then continued to be stuck behind horses the rest of the stretch run. TELEKINETIC raced two to three wide in the back half of the field through the early stages and was mildly gaining late under a drive. LEXINGTON DIVA was fractious in the gate, then broke awkwardly and spotted the field a few lengths head start, settled at the back to the far turn then started to run on under a drive from the seven-sixteenths pole, came eight wide into the stretch but finished with good energy but was unable to improve. MIDSHIPMAN'S LADY raced close up two wide for six furlongs then was unable to keep up in the stretch.
