BLING BABY broke a bit slow then bumped lightly with SPEAK SOFTLY then pinched by TEXAS MOON a few strides later, ranged up to race behind the pacesetters to the turn, was boxed in then angled out to a seam in the three path turning for home then rallied under steady handling and was long in plenty of time. NAVAL WOMAN pressed SPEAK SOFTLY through the early stages then was joined by two more foes to the outside, turned into the stretch with a slight lead, battled gamely then capitulated late to the winner while saving the place. BLUE HEAVENLY was away well but not asked to engage early, settled at the back of the field outside of a rival, advanced six wide on the turn and responded when set down in the stretch, finished well and improved while never a serious threat to the top two. DULCE AMANECER YG lacked early speed but saved ground throughout and managed to split the field. SPEAK SOFTLY aggressively sent to the front, gained the lead with NAVAL WOMAN pressing the issue to the outside then joined by two other foes heading into the turn, battled on gamely into the stretch then weakened in the final furlong. CAJUN DOLL vied three wide into the far turn, dropped off the pace near the quarter pole then had trouble changing leads and tired in the stretch. TEXAS MOON made some light contact with both starters in the adjacent stalls then steadied slightly when rebounded into BLINK BABY, raced mid-pack in cover, had nowhere to run until the stretch but lacked a bid when clear. QUEEN OF THUNDER broke well, was close up four wide down the backstretch, weakened on the turn and had little to offer in the stretch.
