AA BURNING DJEWELLS broke in at the start and mutually bumped with AA BURNING TENACITY then rebounded into GIMMIE GLORY, was always close, ceded the front to RB QUEEN ESTHER, took up the chase when that rival slipped away with just over a quarter mile to go, gradually cut the margin through the stretch run, took the lead inside the furlong pole and went on to win clear. RB QUEEN ESTHER broke well and was hustled to the front, established command passing the half then opened up on the turn, was in a full out drive from the quarter pole, gave way readily with a furlong to run but kept on for second well clear of the next finisher. GIMMIE GLORY raced between the forward and trailing groups, came under pressure to keep pace on the turn then found a good rhythm in the stretch and rallied into third. RV RELENTLESS broke well the shied from an inside rival a few yards from the gate, caused a chain reaction to the runners to the ousdie, then was unable to maintain position with the forward group, chased far back with the trailers then ran on some under urging but was never a serious threat. WMA NASH RAMBLER broke well and was four wide with the early pace scramble, was unable to go on with the top pair when the pace quickened late on the turn, was a clear third at that point then went flat in the stretch and was passed up for the minor awards. WMA DELIGHT lacked speed and raced three deep with the trailing runners, made a mild advance three wide on the turn then flattened out in the stretch. WMA FAST KASH lacked any early speed, had only FFIONNA behind entering the stretch, was kept to task and passed one in the stretch. AA BURNING TENACITY came away well and raced close up on the rail, dropped off the pace heading into the turn and had little to offer from that point. FFIONNA got bothered by WMA FAST KASH a few yards from the gate, dropped to the rail then dropped far behind before the turn, raced four wide and trailed throughout.
